Charissa Thompson
Thompson moved on from FOX Sports in the year 2010 and pulled double duty hosting both Versus and Yahoo Sports. Thompson was the anchor of Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video for the highly trafficked Yahoo platform. She also led the website's coverage of high-profile events such as the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. Success in both arenas brought her to join ESPN in August 2011 when she was chosen as one of the hosts on the new afternoon program "Numbers Never Lie." The show was a part of"SportsNation," the "SportsNation" channel in the month of July. The program was extremely popular, and she was there until May 2013, when she returned home to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is a huge sports fan, but she has demonstrated the versatility necessary to move into entertainment. Thompson was hired to be a co-host for the Hollywood Newsmagazine "Extra" in June 2014 after working a number of jobs part-time. As a co-host filming in Universal Studios as well as staffed award shows and celebrity gatherings on a regular basis.
