Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best known for House which is a Fox medical drama series. Raised in Wayne in conservative Jewish customs, she emigrated into New York City at the age of eighteen to study theatre at Tisch School of the Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the club scene in New York. Her shows were so good that even the local press took note. In the end, she utilized her education and fame to write and compose the musical Positive Me and was also in it. Soon after, she was offered a job at MTV, hosting Awake to the Wild Side. After the show ended, she started appearing in television and film productions, at first in small roles. She gradually established her acting career.
